About Kevin Frost
Kevin Frost is a lifelong resident of Rockford where he married his wife Lisa and raised his two daughters. He is a graduate of Guilford High School, earned his B.S. Degree in Accountancy from the University of Illinois and a Law Degree from the University of Illinois College of Law.
As a young attorney, Kevin went to work for the City of Rockford in the Legal Department where he prosecuted cases and enforced the ordinances passed by the city council. Later Kevin became a partner in the law firm Clark Frost Zucchi PC. He continues to represent clients who have suffered personal injuries.
Kevin was elected Alderman in the 4th Ward back in 2013, was re-elected in 2017, and is now running for a third term. Kevin has been a valuable member of the Rockford City Council applying his legal expertise and experience to a host of issues. Kevin currently serves on three committees where he chairs two of those committees and co-chairs the third committee. He is the only Alderman who has been asked to serve on that many committees. He is also the only Alderman to chair two committees.
As 4th Ward Alderman, Kevin has provided prompt and effective constituent services and representation on the City Council that always puts residents first. His experience at resolving conflicts has been invaluable to 4th ward residents and the city of Rockford where his legal experience has been employed to save taxpayers millions of dollars in a number of disputes involving the City. His advocacy for the 4th Ward has also resulted in a curtailing of crime incidents in the ward. Both violent crimes and property crimes have seen a reduction since Kevin has worked effectively with Chief Dan O’Shea and District 3 officials.
